# Halloween Pumpkin Owl # Introduction For Halloween, I did a pumpkin party. I wanted to decorate the living room with many pumpkin. So I bought a few different variety, plus a one for carving. ![](/assets/images/halloween/005_big.jpg) This one cannot be eaten ! # Pattern I search on Pinterest a design that seemed "nice": To start with, you first need to open the pumpkin and remove the seeds from the top. ![](/assets/images/halloween/006_big.jpg) Next, it is preferable to draw with a pen the line you need to cut, to be sure the design will have the good proportion. ![](/assets/images/halloween/007_big.jpg) Then, you can start carving. This is very time consumming ! ![](/assets/images/halloween/008_big.jpg) Here, this is almost done, but it is not clean yet: When you cut the skin, there is all the flesh behind that you need to carefully remove to see the inside of the pumpkin. ![](/assets/images/halloween/009_big.jpg) When the flesh has been removed and the pumpkin cleaned, this looks like that: ![](/assets/images/halloween/011_big.jpg) At some point, I became aware that I missed the wings! ![](/assets/images/halloween/012_big.jpg) With a true candle, it gives this result: ![](/assets/images/halloween/014_big.jpg) ![](/assets/images/halloween/015_big.jpg) Now, with my pod light in the dark: ![](/assets/images/halloween/022_big.jpg) ![](/assets/images/halloween/023_big.jpg) ![](/assets/images/halloween/026_big.jpg) ![](/assets/images/halloween/027_big.jpg) # Others Cheesy spider !
